Vehicle Description 1960 Cadillac Coupe DevilleThis highly original 1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville is just out of a large collection and ready for straightforward recommissioning.
Green with green interior.
Power brakes, power steering, power windows, and air conditioning.
The motor cranks with the key but the car is not currently running as it has been off the road for several years.
Nice and straight body and solid overall.
An honest original car that's full of integrity.
At the time, few cars better combined power, style, and luxury than Cadillac.
Cadillac?s 1960 range was an elegant reinterpretation of the previous years design, with subtle modifications including lower rear fins, reshaped front bumpers, vertical stacked tail lamps and a fresh grille design.
The overall appearance was slightly more restrained than the flamboyantly over-the-top 1959 models, but only just there was still plenty of glitz and glamour about the 1960 range.
Powered by a 390cid engine fed by triple Rochester carburetors, it was rated at a powerful 325bhp.
Power was delivered to the rear wheels by way of General Motors? silky smooth Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
The Coupe de Ville remains one of Cadillac?s most desirable collector?s cars.
