Hospital Delivery Concierge

Job Description
CVS/pharmacy is seeking individuals highly focused on customer service to coordinate deliveries to patients enrolled in our Hospital Bedside Delivery Program at local hospitals. The individual would serve as a liaison between the hospital and CVS/pharmacy to serve patients? medication needs at the time of discharge from the hospital. Individual will be trained in the pharmacy and the hospital in accordance to the needs and expectations of the Hospital Delivery program on an on-going basis.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serve as pharmacy liaison between CVS pharmacy, patients who have chosen to enroll in the hospital delivery service and hospital staff.
2. Gather and transmit to CVS necessary demographic, opt-in and prescription documentation for patients utilizing the hospital delivery service.
3. Communicate with CVS/pharmacy on a regular basis throughout the day regarding the status of discharge medications
4. Deliver prescriptions to patients before discharge
5. Work with hospital and CVS/pharmacy staff to identify solutions in challenging or unexpected situations and effectively communicate resolutions to patients and hospital staff to ensure that patients receive delivery
Minimum Requirements:
Successful completion of MVR Check
Successful completion of SORI background check
Current Drivers License
Automobile Insurance
Reliable personal automobile
Hospital Credentialing:
The hospital may have additional administrative requirements. The selected Concierge should be comfortable with the following requirements (although they may not be required):
Background Check
Drug Testing
Receiving immunizations if they are currently not up-to-date
Training to access precaution patient rooms
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
? Comfortable in a hospital environment
? Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills
? Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
? Highly dependable, self-directed and motivated to take initiative and go above and beyond
? Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills (interacting with patients, caregivers and hospital physicians and staff)
? Ability to work with physicians and pharmacists to solve problems and identify solutions
? Have open availability and able to commit to a Monday through Friday schedule as well as weekends depending on location.
Operations:
? Comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations
? Comply with CVS policy and procedures at all times
? Adhere to CVS workflow and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained at all times
? Evaluate prescriptions for completeness before transmission to pharmacy, in accordance with State and Federal laws.
? Communicate with patient?s (and physicians as appropriate) regarding third party or pricing concerns.
? Perform all prescription pick-up procedures, in adherence of CVS policy and procedures.
? Perform all register transactions, in adherence of CVS policy and procedures
? Communicate with all healthcare professionals when permissible and according to state law
? Retrieve and file prescriptions appropriately according to State and Federal Law
? Adhere to all HIPAA and legal requirements while delivering exceptional customer service
? Access, input and retrieve information to/from the computer
? Stand for extended periods of time
? Complete all required training programs Communicate with field management and corporate any required reporting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
