The After-Sales Services HR team is seeking a dynamic, seasoned Human Resources Generalist to provide generalist services to the Tiffany Service Center located in Astoria, NY. This position will focus on the core responsibilities of staffing, employee relations, training, benefits and compensation.
The HR Generalist ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of all Human Resource areas including benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and administration for the Tiffany Service Center. Core responsibilities entail: supporting proactive recruiting and hiring strategies and procedures to identify, screen and interview candidates for positions at all levels of the organization. Assisting hiring managers to develop job descriptions and salary recommendations within budget and staffing plans. Act as a key resource for managers and employees on a variety of HR issues including performance management, development and promotion of positive employee relations, team building, conflict resolution and employee retention strategies. Respond to employees' questions about compensation, pay and benefits. Liaison with corporate compensation and benefits. Implement actions plans as requested by the HR Director on HR related projects. Assist in tracking HR related activity and provide ad hoc reports/ statistics to support departmental goals and initiatives.
Primary job requirements include: Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science required, 5 plus years HR experience; interpersonal, written and oral communications skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, E-mail); experience with PeopleSoft and iRecruiter preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills is a plus. Must be able to work in Astoria full-time as well as Midtown at least one day a week.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
