Essential Plan Advisor - New York (Field Based)

Molina By Infinity is hiring for several Essential Plan Advisors in the following New York boroughs- Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Bronx.
The Essential Plan Advisor is a field-based role that directly impacts membership growth and retention through sales activities and Business to Business opportunities that support the Essential Plan (EP) growth strategy in key areas in New York.
The Advisor will present health plan information to providers, business advocacies, and potentially eligible members and will be responsible for closing sales.
The individual will also be responsible for using internal systems to track and measure various sales event effectiveness and activities, events, leads, and lead progress, sales, appointments, contacts, and relationship progress on a daily basis.
Diversity of all types highly desired! Bilingual in any language- Russian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Albanian, West African, Creole, Spanish, etc.
! This role is 100% field based.
Having a valid state driver's license along with reliable vehicle is required.
Molina will reimburse mileage.
You will be working with and creating community connections where our potential members will be- CBO's (Community Based Organizations), FBO's (Faith Based Organizations) and so on.
This role may have events/activities on evenings or weekends.
Applicants will need to have the ability to flex schedules when needed.
Job Duties Enroll eligible members in the designated Essential plan Build and foster relationships with key accounts such as provider offices, CBOs, FBOs, etc.
Serve as a point of contact for members to provide and excellent service and enrollment experience Lead pipeline management Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and enrollment expectations within assigned territory May conduct product information presentations in multiple settings including in-home consultations.
Stay informed on health plan operations, provider network, premiums, member services, claims, EOBs, processes, and other services and issues to provide community partners, prospects, and members with accurate information and provide feedback as appropriate Manage multiple priorities including visiting provider offices on a regular basis and follow up on leads in a timely fashion Tracks schedule in order to keep appointments on time and information pertaining to those appointments in a timely manner Input consumer demographics and interactions into company systems as appropriate Other duties as assigned #LI-TR1 Job QualificationsRequired Education:
High School diploma or equivalent Required
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of business to business, business to consumer direct marketing, outside sales, or community outreach experience.
Required Licensure or Certification:
Must have reliable transportation and a valid state driver's license with no restrictions Within 30 days of Hire, must take and pass the state required test to become a Certified Account Counselor or currently hold an active CAC which can be transferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Able to travel locally 100% of the time within assigned sales territories in the NY markets State
Specific Requirements:
Must take and pass the state required test to become a Certified Account Counselor or currently hold an active CAC which can be transferred Preferred
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
Bilingual skills Established professional relationships with non-profits, CBOs, and FBOs in designated sales territory Experience working with communities of all different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, diverse populations, and/or underserved communities Demonstrated knowledge of Essential Plan Market Place marketing rules and regulations Previous outside sales and territory management experience Travel Requirements:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
