Budtenders, Floor Concierges, and Product/Inventory Organizers Introduction:
Cannavita is a newly licensed and legal cannabis dispensary opening in Astoria, Queens in December 2023.
Cannavita provides quality assured cannabis-based wellness produces for a higher experience and is currently hiring for all front of the house positions, namely knowledgeable and personable Budtenders.
Our mission is provide safe and legal cannabis products to new and seasoned consumers in the greater New York area.
Come join us! Responsibilities The responsibilities of these roles will include greeting customers, highlighting new products, answering customers' questions regarding cannabis products available at Cannavita, their uses for wellness, methods of consumption, and keeping the manager informed of any complaints or operational issues.
Example of some key responsibilities will include:
Opening/closing duties in line with sanitation and restocking standards Answer specific product or cannabis-related questions from customers Assist with placing/fulling orders on our POS system to ensure OCM compliance Organizing and packing customers' orders Closing duties, such as cash management, cleaning workstations, and noting important points for next day bud tenders Confirming IDs and payments at front POS systems Abide all legal cannabis compliance regulations and requirements as per state laws.
Experience and competencies Works well in a team and independently Experience/knowledge of various cannabis products Experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred Familiar with POS systems an added bonus Cannavita respects the rights and confidentiality of all our employees and customers and expect all associates to be mindful of the same.
