Are you driven by a passion for the legal field and a desire to help others through your skills? Our law firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys primarily with pre-trial litigation matters.
This role will involve a high level of client interaction, document preparation, trial preparation, and legal research.

Responsibilities:
1.
Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and trial materials.
2.
Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
3.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including evidence organization, witness coordination, and exhibit preparation.
4.
Maintain case files and manage case document databases, ensuring all information is current and accessible.
5.
Coordinate and manage deadlines, ensuring all litigation activities are carried out in a timely manner.
6.
Facilitate communication and coordination with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other third parties.
7.
Support attorneys in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
8.
Carry out administrative tasks as required, such as drafting correspondence, managing attorney calendars, and handling client billing.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably within a Personal Injury law firm environment.
(Bilingual- English/Spanish is a plus) 2.
Strong knowledge of legal research tools and techniques, legal document preparation, and legal procedures.
3.
Experience in personal injury litigation will be a strong advantage.
4.
A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent qualification is preferred.
5.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
6.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7.
Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and other staff members.
9.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality, with a commitment to ethical standards.
10.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
